finished the event for the fourth time. and it was my fourth attempt, so that's good. here's my buddy Butch and me leading out 160 riders at the start. 6am start 3am finish for me and Butch. took lots of breaks due to the heat and made a long day out of it. i figured any chance to ride with the fast guys was going to be in the first few minutes anyways so i sat near the front for a while, but not for long.
