Our friend Ario Bigattini had a great idea a few years back. He was sick of seeing trash all along the otherwise beautiful back roads of Sonoma County. So he got in touch with the county and they let him borrow a bunch of GPS units so he and his friends could waypoint the trash via bicycle and make it easier for the county to locate and pick up. Now officially know as the ABC rides, they have turned into a bi-annual event. If you're interested in participating, the next one is Saturday November 3. Three rides are planned; one in Petaluma and two in Santa Rosa. Usually they start at 10am but check out the official ABC blog for maps and details.
